Editorial Standards and Review

AutoAccident.co publishes general accident and claims information and source-based local reports. We are an attorney advertising and matching service, not a law firm. Our articles cannot evaluate an individual case or replace professional advice.

How articles are prepared

Some content is researched and edited directly. Our automated publishing workflow also uses AI to prepare narrowly scoped practical guides and local incident summaries. Articles published through that workflow identify their automated preparation and checking process. An automated check is not a human review, independent reporting, legal opinion, or medical assessment.

The automated workflow retrieves source material, drafts an article, and performs a separate checking pass against that material. It checks source quotations, attribution, relevance, potential duplication, conspicuous copying, and publishing artifacts. A failed check holds the item for further attention. These checks reduce avoidable errors but cannot guarantee that a source is correct or that an article contains no mistakes.

Sources and attribution

We prioritize relevant primary sources, including public agencies, insurance regulators and official consumer guidance. Articles link to the sources supporting their factual points. A state agency’s advice is identified in its state context; it is not automatically a nationwide rule. An agency link does not imply endorsement of our site.

For local reports, the article distinguishes an official source’s account from facts we independently observed. We do not claim to have contacted an agency or witnessed an event unless that actually occurred. Preliminary accounts can change. A release does not by itself resolve fault, insurance coverage, or a legal claim. Separate reports about the same incident should be reconciled rather than presented as different crashes.

Original practical value

A guide should answer a specific reader question and add a useful original example, checklist or organizational tool. Illustrative forms and scenarios are labeled as editorial examples; they are not agency forms or actual client outcomes. We avoid filling publication targets with repeated location substitutions, invented cases, unsourced statistics or promised results.

Automated overlap checks compare wording and topics with available sources and site content. They are not a comprehensive plagiarism certification. Source quotations are used for verification; public explanations should use original wording with appropriate attribution.

Limits of review

No attorney, clinician or other professional should be assumed to have reviewed an article unless an actual reviewer and the scope of that review are identified. Legal and medical issues can depend on circumstances not addressed by a general article. Filing dates, coverage, treatment and other consequential decisions require appropriate individual advice.

We do not treat an AI-generated confidence score as proof of accuracy. Where the available material does not support a conclusion, the article should say what remains unknown or stay unpublished. A publication or modification date is not a promise that every linked legal authority has been checked again on that date.

Corrections and updates

To flag a concern, use the site’s contact route and identify the page, the exact statement, and a relevant source. Do not include private medical records or sensitive claim documents just to report an editorial issue. We do not promise a response time. Published pages may need correction as facts, sources or laws change.

Changes to automatically checked text invalidate its previous publishing approval and require a new check. The workflow preserves existing editor changes instead of silently regenerating over them.

Advertising and reader inquiries

Editorial information and an attorney-connection request serve different purposes. An inquiry does not create an attorney-client relationship, guarantee representation, establish a claim’s merit, or promise compensation. Review the form disclosures and any later engagement terms before sharing information.
